Our Founder
Brightenwells was founded by Jacky Chen, a furniture designer, interior designer, and product visionary with over 20 years of experience in the design and wellness industry.
Before founding Brightenwells, Jacky was the co-founder of a successful architectural product design company specializing in high-quality, custom-made interior furnishings for private clients. His work has always focused on craftsmanship, material integrity, functional beauty, and timeless design. Over the years, he has developed a deep appreciation for creating products that combine luxury aesthetics with everyday wellness and comfort.
In his own words:
“I recently discovered two remarkable things I knew nothing about 20 years ago: the deep warmth of an authentic steam sauna, and full-body immersion in cold water—whether a bathtub, a nearby lake, or the ocean. Both are energizing, calming, stress-relieving, and surprisingly addictive. Combined, they are simply extraordinary.”
This personal discovery became the foundation of Brightenwells. Inspired by the balance between heat, cold, relaxation, and recovery, Jacky envisioned a brand that would bring premium wellness experiences into modern homes through thoughtfully designed saunas and cold plunge products.
